Ingredients
- 4 stalks of celery, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 pounds of beef (or venison if you prefer)
- 1 (15-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, run through a food processor to cut up the tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 5 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/8 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (16-ounce) cans kidney beans, undrained
- Brown meat with celery, onion, garlic, and green bell pepper.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for 1 hour or more if desired.
- Serve with cornbread muffins.
